NASCENTechnology Expands Engineering Staff

NASCENTechnology is pleased to announce the addition of two new engineers to its magnetic component technical staff.

Jonathan Young has joined the NASCENT team as a Materials Scientist to help further NASCENT’s research into improved and enhanced magnetic materials for its unique multi-layer magnetic transformer and high temperature inductor product technologies.  Mr. Young earned his B.S. degree in Materials Science and Engineering from the prestigious Northwestern University’s McCormick School of Engineering.  His prior professional experience involved materials R&D and technology development where he spearheaded the refinement of product formula ingredients and processes to increase manufacturing efficiency and reduce costs across his employers manufacturing lines.  He was also successful in scaling up a material mixing process for greater production volume.

James Eichinger joined NASCENTechnology as an experienced and versatile Senior Electrical Engineer.  Jim is an Electrical Engineering graduate of the Minnesota State University at Mankato and comes to NASCENT with a broad and diverse 25-year background in Product Design and Development, Test Engineering, Programming, and Customer Support Engineering.  His Switchmode Power Supply design experience will be particularly useful to NASCENT and our customers.  He will team up with NASCENT’s magnetic component design staff to develop new standard magnetic component designs and custom components for customers.  Jim will also be involved in reliability testing of HIREL components and be a key contact for customer application support.

The addition of these two technical staff members demonstrates NASCENTechnology’s commitment to ongoing technology and product development in its world leading multi-layer ceramic magnetic component technology.  These components exhibit superior reliability in the harshest conditions experienced in military, aerospace, and down-hole environments.
